Noche Flamenca
We are so excited to bring back our amazing dancer April Goltz for two special performances entitled Noche Flamenca! Asili & Vaccaro will come together with Albuquerque, NM based flamenco dancer, April Goltz and Indian tabla percussionist, Devesh Chandra for a powerful performance of Spanish flamenco blended with classical Indian percussion. The performances will take place on Thurs. Nov. 8th in Binghamton, NY at The Roberson Museum & Science Center and on Nov. 10th at The Steamer 10 Theater. Both venues we performed at last year to an enthusiastic full house, and we hope to bring an even bigger energy this year! April Goltz is currently a student and employee at the renowned National Institute of Flamenco in New Mexico and has studied and performed flamenco in Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Seville and Madrid. Devesh Chandra, son of well-known Indian classical musician Veena Chandra, will also be joining the group for these performances bringing a new Indian influence with the sounds of the tabla.
